Randy Clayton
Founding Partner

Randy is unique as a financial planning firm founding partner, as financial services has been the only career he has ever held. And after 40 years in the industry, he still finds it gratifying to have founded a firm that provides fiduciary, fee-only financial planning that helps clients achieve their goals.
Randy actually majored in psychology in college. As he puts it, it was a course of study that had nothing—yet everything—to do with providing financial advice. His first jobs were in selling financial products, which he disliked, so he turned to offering what he knew he could excel at—compassionate, objective financial advice.
He and his wife, Debra, raised a family while building the firm, with Debra focused on the investment management side and Randy on the financial planning side. Today, Randy spends much of his time mentoring younger members of the financial planning team and managing the firm’s more complex cases. Randy and Debra are working to revitalize Downtown Topeka. They have built a pocket park, rehabilitated a historic building, and built a new three-story building after a fire destroyed a building close to the office. He also enjoys traveling, and like his wife, his favorite memories are the ones spent on African safaris.
