Barbara Duncan, CFP®
Vice President and Senior Wealth Advisor
Some of Barbara’s favorite moments come when a client reaches a long-sought milestone and shares their appreciation for her help in reaching it. This enthusiasm for helping clients reach their financial goals is one that Barbara brings to our firm every day, whether she is working one on one with a client or training other wealth advisors and planning staff members.
Barbara got started in the financial services industry when she landed a job at our firm as an assistant financial planner. Since then, her responsibilities have steadily expanded, and nearly 15 years later, she serves as vice president and senior wealth advisor. Barbara helps develop and maintain client relationships, is a member of our management team, and trains staff members in the personalized financial planning and investment management that our firm is committed to.
Outside of work, the Topeka resident shows the same dedication to helping improve people’s lives as she does at the office. Her community activities include board memberships on the Topeka Symphony League and Washburn Campus Ministry, as well as serving as a volunteer for Birthright of Topeka. She also enjoys sporting events and gardening, and is a big fan of TV crime dramas.
