Clayton Wealth Partners Promotes Zac Pohlenz to Wealth Advisor

Pohlenz is taking on a more direct role with clients as part of his promotion.

TOPEKA, Kansas—January 11, 2022—Clayton Wealth Partners is pleased to announce that it has promoted Zac Pohlenz, CFP®, to Wealth Advisor.

The promotion follows Pohlenz’s attainment of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification in late 2020. Formerly an Associate Wealth Advisor, Pohlenz was promoted effective January 1, 2022.

As a Wealth Advisor, Zac works one-on-one with clients of the wealth management firm, which has offices in Topeka and Lawrence, Kansas. He creates and implements comprehensive financial planning and asset management services to help clients achieve their objectives.

Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor Elizabeth Young, CFP®, said Pohlenz has earned the promotion.

“We have been pleased with Zac’s terrific work ethic and quick progress since he joined us in 2020,” Young said. “He is passionate about helping our clients achieve their financial goals, and as a Wealth Advisor, he now has even more opportunities to showcase his skills and professionalism.”

Pohlenz started his financial planning journey as a freshman at Kansas State University, where he realized he wanted to pursue financial services as a career.

“I knew it would combine my desire to help people with my aptitude for personal finance,” Pohlenz said.

The CFP® designation emphasizes comprehensive, goals-based financial planning, extensive experience, and rigorous ethics, including serving as a fiduciary. Clayton Wealth Partners, a fiduciary Registered Investment Advisor, requires its Wealth Advisors to have the certification.

“I’m thrilled about the promotion,” Pohlenz said. “It affirms all the hard work and studying I’ve put in, and I’m excited to provide a more expansive role in the financial lives of our clients.”
