Clayton Wealth Partners Pledges to Support Rising Together Initiative


LAWRENCE, Kansas—January 4, 2022—Clayton Wealth Partners today announced that it pledged funds to support Rising Together, a five-year economic development initiative for Lawrence and Douglas County.

Spearheaded by the EDC of Lawrence & Douglas County and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, Rising Together focuses on creating a “vibrant, diverse, and progressive economy in Lawrence and Douglas County,” according to the EDC’s webpage on the initiative.

The initiative is fourfold:

  1. Job creation and economic prosperity
  2. Innovation and entrepreneurship
  3. Workforce and talent development
  4. Housing and land development

“This is an ambitious project—and the results will be a boon for our community,” said Jim Walden, firm Partner and Chief Investment Officer and a Lawrence resident. “The initiative requires $2.5 million in private-sector funding, and we are more than happy to do our part by pledging.”
