LAWRENCE, Kansas—Clayton Wealth Partners today announced the achievement of a long-desired goal: the opening of an office in Lawrence, Kansas.
“The new office makes it more convenient for our clients who live or work in Lawrence to meet with us,” said James M. Walden, CFA, a Partner and Chief Investment Officer at the Registered Investment Advisory firm.
The address for the new office is:
832 Pennsylvania St., Suite 1005
Lawrence, KS 66044
Phone: (785) 371-4832
Clayton Wealth Partners has served Kansas residents from its Topeka location for over 35 years. Founded by Randy and Debra Clayton, the Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm provides fee-only wealth management services and serves as full-time fiduciaries to individuals and families, as well as endowments, foundations, and for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
With the opening of the Lawrence office, Clayton Wealth Partners becomes the only financial planning firm in the city that is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Since its founding, NAPFA had advocated for high professional and ethical standards in the financial advice industry. NAPFA-affiliated financial planners must be fee-only and serve as fiduciaries.
“We are proud to bring a fee-only, local option for residents of Lawrence and Douglas County,” said Clint Patty, J.D., Managing Partner. “We think our Lawrence location can benefit residents who want to feel certain that the advice they receive is objective and in their best interest.”
Walden added that opening an office in Lawrence was a logical next step in the advisory firm’s growth.
“With many of our clients already in Lawrence, opening an office seemed like a natural move. And really, it’s a good move for all our Douglas County clients, no matter where they live,” he said. “They can meet us in either Lawrence or Topeka, and of course, online. Our goal is to make it convenient as possible for people to work with us.”
Walden is also one of our team members who have roots in Lawrence. A resident of the city, he is a member of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and Jayhawk Breakfast Rotary Club, serves on the Board of Directors for Just Food (the Lawrence-based food bank), and coaches youth soccer through Sporting Kaw Valley.
