Leadership Topeka

TOPEKA, Kansas—Clayton Wealth Partners is proud to announce that Barbara Duncan, CFP®, a Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor at Clayton Wealth Partners, was named to the 2020 class of Leadership Greater Topeka.

Barbara joins 35 other community members in the leadership training program. The program is offered annually by Greater Topeka Partnership, which identifies outstanding leaders from the community and brings them together for the training program.

“I’m honored to be a part of the Class of 2020,” Barbara said. “I know people who were members of previous classes, and they said the program made an impact. I’m looking forward to connecting to others who want to  have a positive effect on the community.”

According to its website, Greater Topeka Partnership serves as an umbrella agency for “eight distinct efforts that support the enhancement of economic development and quality of life in Topeka and Shawnee County.”

The partnership has offered the Leadership Greater Topeka program for 37 years now. As part of this year’s program, Barbara and her classmates are attending eight daylong sessions and a retreat. Participants learn:

  • The opportunities and challenges that Topeka and Shawnee County face
  • How the participants can work to influence community issues

“We are thrilled to see Barbara selected as part of the Leadership Greater Topeka program,” said Clint Patty, the firm’s Managing Partner.  As a fellow Leadership Greater Topeka alumni, I know Barbara will excel within this outstanding group, and continue to develop as one of Topeka’s brightest community leaders.”
